Would you like to research your Family History, but are not sure how to go about it?
Would you like to search the London based archives but live too far away?
Are you just too busy with work or other commitments to be able to do the work yourself?
Let Mayday Genealogy help you
Our aim is to provide an affordable family history and genealogy research service that is tailored to the
individual needs of the client. We welcome enquiries from anyone who is a
beginner in family history and is seeking assistance in the quest for his or
her ancestors. In addition we are keen to provide a service to those who
cannot spare the time to research their own ancestry. We are also set up to assist
the experienced researcher or genealogist who perhaps finds it inconvenient or impossible
to visit The National Archives and the other libraries in London themselves.
Each of the researchers at Mayday Genealogy has more than ten years experience in genealogical research.
Based in London, Mayday Genealogy has easy access to The National Archives and all the other major London based archive repositories, such as the Society of Genealogists Library, the London Metropolitan Archives, City of Westminster Archives, the British Library, the Principal Probate Registry and the Guildhall Library.
This provides ready access to Prerogative Court of Canterbury (PCC) Wills (pre 1858); post 1858 Probate records; Birth, Marriage & Death indexes (post 1837); Census Records, Military Records and many other classes of records.
Mayday Genealogy also has access to the Local Studies Libraries of the Greater London Boroughs as well as the County Archives of many south-eastern Counties. This provides access to a wealth of records including those Parish Registers of Baptisms, Marriages and Burials that have been deposited.
